(Northern Star Mining or the "Company") announces that effective July 13, 2010, Jonathan
Awde has tendered his resignation
as director and president of Northern Star Mining
Corp., Mr. Awde has advised the board of Northern Star
that he plans to focus on other business and private interests.
Mr. Awde has been a
member of the board since June 15 2007 and the Company wishes to thank Mr. Awde for his services, and wish him well in his future
pursuits.
