The health and safety company’s policy is to conduct its operations while protecting the health and safety of its employees and contractors. This policy will be exercised throughout exploration, mining, processing and decommissioning activities to meet the requirements of legislation and to ensure the adoption of best management practices.

To achieve these goals, Northern Star Mining is committed to:

1. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations;

2. Design, build and inspect regularly our facilities to ensure that effective controls are in place to minimize the risks to health and safety;

3. Elaborate emergency response plans to minimize the impacts of unforeseen events;

4.Ensure that we acquire materials and equipment meeting the safety criteria or modify the in order to do so;

5. Provide to our employees continuous formation to safe practices ;

6. Establish and maintain an health and safety committee to review our performance and to assist the directors of the Corporation in carrying out the Board's oversight responsibility for these matters.
